R1q2 client wont load! this sucks!

I downloaded the R1q2 client anticheat upgrader thing, all that shit. Can't install the anticheat unless i install the client and the client exe gives me an error. "Couldn;t load pix/colormaps.pcx Would you like to debug?" I'm screwed Vanilla wont let me on. What do i do?

off hand, sounds like a missing pak file? pak0 perhaps?

You should have pak0, pak1, and pak2, and i think what you stated comes from missing pak0.

Hopefully you're running windows.
if so, unzip this into your quake2/baseq2 folder..
