there's a test release out for anyone who wants to help bugtest the first batches of funky weapons..

You can download it at the site linked above.

I've been diddling with it this morning and it's pretty nifty..
I really enjoy the spike bomb launcher and the needler..

Version 1.0 is out, and very fun!

Almost all of the weapons have been implemented, and there are new items and powerups to enjoy!
Also a day/night cycle has been added.

Hey, is this like a form of the LOX Mod, cos I'm usually play LOX other than regular Quake like on here, sounds like fun though....I sometimes play on Clan WOS's Loxopfilia or my own teams server, hehe

Nothing beats the Energy Vortex, lol I think its even more deadly than the Cataclysm Device..

well, it's mostly a weapon mod, so it's similar to LOX in that respect..
It's not based on it though, and most of the weapons are a little less overpowering..
They've tried to tune it down a bit so it's not so easy to win by spamming.

they released a new version this weekend with even more weapons and bugfixes..
Definitely worth checkin out.

they added the xatrix weapons too, for all you trap whores out there.

IMW v. 2 is out!

It's had all of the known bugs ironed out and some more silly/deadly/odd weapons thrown into the mix.
It has built in bots (still being tested for ways to improve their smarts) and more nifty types of grenade than you can shake a stick at.

hey guys,

thanks for trying out our mod.
Wanted to let you guys know our server [ skies.servequake.com:27913 ] is updated with the new version and needing some traffic, sadly.
maybe we can have some clan IWM matches (WOS vs BTF) or something.

My personal fav of this mod is the entity editor, Paril did a great job on this. others include: laser link nades, tele nades, volcano, and others

yes, this is a mod like LOX, but sadly lox has turned into a spammage mod. Paril & I have tried to come up with ideas that don't induce spammage.
Also, the main goal of this mod is to have fun, not to win. winning helps but is not the main point. too many mods out there are winning-based.

q2 is old, outdated on the standard engine, the least we can do is have tons of fun playing it to keep it alive

Well, I'm still LOX in it up, me and a few of my buds play on a local LAN and its pretty much like normal quake, well when the Cataclysm comes out, all bets are off but its still fun i find, god bless the Energy Vortex too, lol 3 turrets out and its a tornado out there!
