Ahh, after a relaxing 6-day vacation in Mauritius, I have returned to the forums! Ya have no idea what 6 days of Golden Tequila does to a man

we use the word n00b for 2 different people

I don't really refer to shitty players as newbs, being a newb is more of a mind state, a newb (to me anyways) is someone that insults a better player because he feels threatened, or someone who plays q2 just to "own" and build up his ego because whatever in real life isn't going his way, basically just someone who has no idea of whats really going on and is more around to ruin it (the fun that is) than to actually bring something to the table. Everyone gets beaten, and I do mean everyone, so really skill levels are all just a matter of perspective.

Take this for instance, I played a game on grom the other night against XSiv, I scored quite a lot of points but at the end someone said "owned" and I thought to myself, why are they saying owned when I won the match, if anyones going to say owned it should be me, and not some spectator thats either trying to score points with me by jumping on my dick or trying to belittle a player because he lost the match. All saying stuff like that does is make people not want to play anymore, which is ruining our community, so if anyone was a newb, it was the one running his mouth in observer mode, not the guy who tried and lost.

wow strong words from sean on the issue of whining scrubs, i like it, he speaks the truth regarding ffa as well

unfortunately if we had such a filter, most of the servers would empty out
