So I was wondering how on TS servers when I do an ACList I have 0 failed file checks, yet on MK servers the same command shows I have 5-7 failed file checks with no changes made to my Q2 at all. and the reason I say 5-7, is some days it's 5, and some days it's 7.

what's so different between these two servers?

tastyspleen does not have any file restrictions
MK does, hence why they fail

MonsterKill has tighter file hash restrictions.

The admins would have to speak up for an exact answer, but as i recall, you are not allowed to modify footsteps, water, railgun or bfg hum sounds. Could be others.

As far as the number of failed file checks changing from time to time, I've already had that happen to me once. Normally I'm 0 failed files, however recently I was on a server where one minute I was fine, next min. showed I failed 1. Acinfo told me I had modified cyborg file. In past, I had removed cyborg, didn't care for it. The lack of the cyborg file flagged bad file, according to that particular server's settings. So normally I'd be fine, show up clean, unless someone chose to be cyborg on that particular server.

Editing any sounds in general should always be restricted I believe...

TS doesnt enforce file hashes as MK apparently does, depending on what files they have hashes enforced you may get failures on MK where you wouldnt on TS, doesn't mean you are cheating, just means you are using slightly diffent files than MK is requiring. 1 slight change to a file causes the hash value to change and hence their marking you with the file hits.
