Good Game to all who played.  Thanks for participating.

Hopefully we can arrange another and involve all of the FFA players.

There are a number of suggestions toward improving this next time:

• lock the server once the match has started, so that players don't join (one guy played probably not even knowing it was a tourney!)
• randomly seed the map ordering for each heat, so that if players stop vetoing maps, everyone knows what the next map will be.
• allow more flexiblity for players to join if they haven't registered... (not sure how, but there are some ideas)
• don't play in it if you are going to try to ref it at the same time (my mistake)

i hope people had fun.  We certainly realized many places to improve.  There was too much chaos caused minimally by lack of preperation, need for more detailed/clearer rules, but mostly the chaos was from a larger client load, and the difficulty in keeping people out of the game who arent supposed to be there, and the chaotic map vetos where you have 12 people yelling 3 different things at once, lol.  i still think it was fun, and gives a very clear vision of what is needed to make the next one smooth as glass (like most tourneys have been).

Server Setup:
Locked Server after game begins.

Some way of working around the map veto system, or as Defiant! described above, maps chosen beforehand.

Very detailed and clear rules.

Thanks for all who participated.  i hope next time we can get more to join up front, and certainly more who registered to show up at all.  The entire fourth heat had zero players show up for thier match.

Last round I had no score, I had to take off. I was anticipating the tournament to finish around 10pm est. Once it started getting past 11pm I had to call it quits.

Another proposed idea is for defiant to NOT be the last person to veto, being that it was his final choice between 2 maps the first 2 final rounds.

[BTF]Defiant!: Last 2 remaining maps are dm8 and ztn3.

Was the same when we, I mean _he_ decided for q2dm1. I hadn't even vetoed anything yet. 

And YOU were the one who was complaining about things at the end of the whole competition, hahahahhaha

Haunted -

If you had only seen the anarchy involved with people veto'ing maps - you would understand why sometimes a map was just chosen.

Half the time 5 out of 8 people wouldn't even veto a map, so one had to be randomly chosen.  Not only that but people weren't paying attention so it was taking 20 minutes to even get a match going in the first place.

I give props to everyone that helped organize, ref, and move things along in this FFA Heat Tourney.  It did not look easy
