This is to notify all participants, as well as the Q2 player population, that the DeathMatch 1 v 1 LAN tourney for the Florida Championship will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 2007 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. All participants should be aware that this is BYOC. Don't forget monitors, keyboards, mice, all power and video cables. Also, bring as much CAT 5 as possible as the exact dimensions and set up of places have yet to be determined. If possible, bring a hub/switch as well. Really, anything that you think might be useful at a LAN and you have the ability to bring then please do. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Convenience and grocery stores are 1 - 5 minutes away from the site if needed. Any ideas or questions or anything I've missed bringing up here that you think should be then please post.

what do you mean no item/weapon timers? we can't play separate .wav files to time things?

timers are illegal in all tournaments for all games as far as i know, except online q2. quakecon and previous q2 tournaments did not allow them. gameclock is how timing should be done (the real, skillful way).
