people go invisible randomly first time they spawn

there seems to be a problem that randomly happens when people spawn for the first time
they will go invisible and they/you cant here there foot steps
this has happened to me maybe 3-4 times and iv seen it happen once before to someone else
if the person is killed he will go back to normal, but unless the invisible player kills himself
it would be very hard to kill him

that happened one day on mutant, Chacal was invisible.. it was kinda fun.. me and another guy made it our goal to try and kill him.. and we eventually got him

Yes, it's a server bug...   :-\

We've done some cursory debugging but don't know what causes it yet.

Fortunately it doesn't seem to happen on the tourney servers.  ;D

A great idea, no more wallhacking on servers if player models were invisible. Simple, wonder why noone has ever thought of that  ;D

DM server is fucked. 2 point blank rockets from spawn and lava damage and player survived? WTF?" Also someone has fucked with the spawn points, every single time no matter how big the map you spawn right in front of the person who killed you last
