anticheat: RiDiX caught wallhacking (badsoul ref_gl wh)

yes... it was ditzu/tyr   and u do need other files to use it, it was a fake nocheat  2.34 exe  which makes nocheat allow the wallahck or w/e,  so download nocheat and try to JUST use that file and ull be wrong again... dude stop jumping to random conclusions.  another thought.. can u see who has typed gl_modlate ?  can u see if they typed it on your server or do u not see cmds.   if u can then ull see i havent.

that dll doesnt work unless u have no anticheat clients...  think your shit through plz

so quadz did u try to use r1q2 with that dll?  uve done everything else and posted about it so ill assume uve tried and u see that it gives that error just by having it on the folder  or memory too i guess maybe?

im well aware of how "badsoul wh" works  and for me to try and use it with r1q2 id need some hacked r1q2 exe, which i would hope isnt out there for dl. 

the dll isn't made for any of the new anticheats, there is NO WAY for me to use it on ts.   u can try for yourself..  if id been using that file to play then you would see the same error u will get if u use nocheat or q2a or r1q2 or any anticheat.. the only time it doesnt give u an error  is if its not on a server, or maybe some shitty servers with no protection at all,  btw tyr was only in my clan as a joke, the same as playboy, focus, pyrex and blood.

yeah, ditzu (pleXtor) had haunted post screens of his accuracy and i noticed it said "gl_modlate 1". I thought i was very strange at the time, but did not know for sure if it was a hack. Now i guess we know . With that knowledge ditzu should certainly be banned since he posted screenshotsusing it lol. As far as granny is concerned, it seems like he is weaving a pretty thick web of shit, but quadz keeps proving all of his accusations wrong. Ban the newbie

u know u can view your demo with walls and take a ss and it will seem as if u cheated...  not to say thats what happened  with ditzu or w/e but i know several people who all hate me that have the same dll, and they arent cheating because it wont let u play undetected...

Yes you can use it on ts, unless you're using a valid anticheat.dll client.  You can use it with plain r1q2 (without anticheat.dll), you can use it with 3.20, you can use it with frkq2 (that emulates NoCheat), etc. etc. etc.

Note, your wallhack isn't sophisticated enough to get around the server-side anti-wallhack measures (sv_nc_visibilitycheck) when we have those turned on.  But as I've said before, I have to turn that off peridocally as it uses too much CPU.

Bascially:

He had the wallhack in his Quake2 folder masquerading as the standard/default OpenGL renderer: ref_gl.dll

A filter was placed on his IP that required him to have a valid anticheat.dll client to play from his IP.

To comply with that, he installed r1q2 + anticheat.dll, and attempted to connect to the servers.

His ref_gl.dll wallhack was loaded because ref_gl.dll is the name for the standard OpenGL renderer for Q2.

When he tried to connect to the servers, anticheat.dll determined his loaded ref_gl.dll matched the signature of the badsoul wallhack, and kicked him from the server.


That's pretty much it.

Ditzu's hack that uses the 'gl_modlate 1' command is very new from what I know, as it completely gets past nocheat.  Him and granny both used it plenty when they ran nocheat 2.40.  It certainly is not an old ass dll file as tranny claims

admin is there anyway u can check to see if ppl have gl_modlate 1 on?  im pretty sure that's a cmd for his hacks and i KNOW many others are using it too.

if u can figure out how to stop ppl from using this cmd maybe q2 wont be so hacked.
