I will be going down to San Mateo during my Christmas break to meet up with John Romero (if he agrees) to conduct an interview with him. I would like this event to benefit as many people in the community as possible, so if you have any interesting questions you would like me to bring up, go ahead and reply here.

Oh wait, I don't see him to make a movie for me to see that. All I have to do is go to work and it's everywhere.

I can't really think of anything.
But {PK}MasterShake was around right now, he'd have 5 million questions for him. He is one of his biggest fans.
He's gona crap when he learns he missed his oppertunity.

1) Would you be interested in serving as a VIP for our 10 year anniversary Quake 2 LAN party in 2007? Perhaps part of QCon. Likely in the Dallas area. 2) Did you read Masters of Doom or the other books written about the formation of ID Software? What do you think about them?

4) What is your opinion of Quake 2 relative to the other Doom / Quake Games? When was the last time you played it? When was the last time you played Doom or Quake?

4b) What do you think of the source ports for Doom? Such as Boom, Tools Assisted Demos, and all of the high end graphics?

5) Where do you see the FPS industry going? Do you expect a fusion of the MMO and FPS genera?

6) If he still has his long hair, ask him if he is Samson (Bible reference) and fears cutting it. If he has it cut, refuse to offer the interview and say "suck it down"

i said this sarcastically, but i would love to hear an opinion/answer on the "topic" of modifying the games for personal taste.
