By the way my inventory turns are already at 365 (up from 2 from last year at this time) - I fill the slurpee machine daily now . . . How much better can I do?   Unfortunately, my uncle and his 3 wives and their children are now living outside the store in the back of a fully stocked tractor trailer parked across the street so the inventory is not technically at the store but ready just-in-time with "a vendor" (Uncle Ramadan Incorporated) - I have even been sending some customers over there to get the stuff so technically I am not even touching the merchandise, they are just "drop shipped" (the tractor trailer is failry high off the ground) from URI directly to the customer  . . . Well, I've held out long enough. Here's my peso's worth.

This is not the world of console gaming. We all have different machines that handle sometimes different code (i.e. different clients such as r1q2, egl, aprq2, etc) at different performances.

I wish I could say that game performance is entirely based off of personal skill, but the simple truth is... it's not. Machines have to be tuned towards maximum performance for all of us, somewhat in the same way that cars do. Racing skill is a big part of success, but a good portion of the game is decided in how the car is tuned. Adjusting things towards optimal levels is *not cheating*. It's fine-tuning.

On the other hand, adding things that nobody else has, such as wallhacks, bots, etc, are. There are modifications now made to the game that are accepted as standards, and are no longer cheating (including brightskins, dammit). Overclocking is in a very real sense simply a part of how your pc is tuned. If you're unwilling to get the most out of your box, then it's totally your own responsibility.

Regarding Ely's movement vs ping - several clients have *very well written* protocol and client-prediction code. They simply do highly efficient things with protocols that are already in place. I know that I can be lagging in EGL rather badly, but unless it's very extreme, I won't even notice an adverse effect on the game.

In conclusion, let's quit the childish name-calling and try and figure out what the fuck everybody is yelling about.
