adding the whois comand to the ctf server and others

i'd liek you to add the whois command to the ctf server so i can see who's aliases i'm playing against so cheaters cant get a leg up on me. i dont play certain players on acme and they always alias so i cant play anyone 1 on 1 . if you could somehow add this console command and make it available that would be a great additon as as well

I think players should be allowed to alias.  Some players almost never play under the same name.  Top players don't like this which is why TDM-NOALIAS was created.

If you suspect a cheater, often there are admins who are on or watching the server logs.  Also you can simply record a demo and the player can be reviewed, if found, they the logs can be reviewed for their IP.

Granted I rarely play CTF, so maybe it would be appropriate on the CTF server.

well there is a way to counter the alias tracking by getting a new ip but i still think it should be used for general player tracking on the server so we know who is who . constant aliasing is annoying and messes up the community when too many names are used and destroys the player base on the server. people can act a fool and change their name as many times as they want and i find that unacceptable.

I agree with Def, ppl should be able to play with whatever name they want, unless they are on the no-alias server.

When it comes to assoles/cheats/etc.., report it. Dont matter what name they use, console can track em down.
Just get a condump of bad behavior, or even better a demo of the perp from their POV, specially for cheaters.
