Stuck running forward

Sometimes when I'm playing I get stuck running forward, if I hold down the backwards key I can stop, but I cannot go backwards at all.

The keyboard key is not sticking.

If I go and type cl_run in the console it goes back to normal, so it must be something in the game.

Any suggestions.

I got a match Wed. night, I hope it does not happen during my match.

If it happens how do you call timeout during the match, is it in the menu (I have never looked)  I'm not sure if typing cl-run
while in timeout would work since i'm in timeout.
