i have been searching the web and  ifoudn a new updated version of q2admin that euro servers have been using in leagues and would like you to consider to upgrade to it. its a small file and i can configure the text document if you like for maximum protection. in addition i have also found a progra,m called holywater that leagues also use and i think it will add anothe rlayer of cheat protection to your servers especially the ctf server swhich i play at

Hi, our experience is that q2admin's cheat detection is worse than worthless these days.  We run a modified q2admin at tastyspleen, where I have been hacking the code to remove its worst checks, which end up kicking legit players just because of a lag spike.

Regarding holywater, isn't it a client?  The successor to the NoCheat client, I thought.

The only useful anticheat I'm aware of for Q2 in this day and age is r1ch's anticheat.dll.

i had run a temp quake2 server for ctf and
