Dear Moderator,

I was banned about a year ago for using a bot. I believe I'm the only player on the West Coast who has been banned.

Please reinstate me so I can play on your servers again. I will not use bots again I promise!

Player names used: Vauchy, Gimpy, and some others. I believe you will remember the name Vauchy!

No, you'll need to use an anticheat.dll compatible client, listed on the http://antiche.at page.

If you want one that's closest to the plain Quake2, choose the r1q2 client, and set cl_async 0 in your autoexec.cfg.

Let me know when you're ready, and I'll remove the ban.

Anyway...

Vauchy was a very persistent botter, back in the day on xquake, and he was very hard to ban, until we got hostmask-based banning.

If it weren't for anticheat.dll, he wouldn't be unbanned at all.
