NADML scheduling
«

Last season, scheduling was a pain in the ass. Match times were getting moved around last minute and I'd have players ready to play an hour before and then nowhere to be found when the match was ready to start.
Can we please, either have NADML admin make a set schedule for all matches in advance or make use of the NADML website's match scheduling feature. I know we have a couple European teams this season and they aren't going to want to play at 10 pm est., so I think scheduling is going to be even more of a headache this season without some changes being made.

I also want to add that I'm not opposed to the idea of a pre-set schedule for the round-robin portion of the league. I think it would be cool to have something I could print out so I would know what day, time, and server our matches were on every week.

Not helpful for this, but I would like to setup a system perhaps using Google Calendar or another online service where people/clans schedule their availability (good times, ok times, can't make it times) so that actually scheduling the match is trivial.
This wouldn't be difficult to implement and I'm slowly looking into it for an unrelated online project.
If someone has experience with this let me know.

i will discuss this with admins. we had minimal problems with scheduling, it was only a few times where people simply did not show for whatever reason. i don't think it was miscommunication, just lack of motivation. if team captains are on irc, i think they should be able to schedule however they please.

I was in the hospital for a considerable part of nadml #2 but seems to me the only problems with match scheduling (aside from eom dropping out) were Devine and shining force in the playoffs, which was due to some miscommunication and valiant vs actus reus because vA couldnt get four on and aR werent being very nice about a rematch, so I forced a reschedule, which eventually worked out
I wouldnt be opposed to the admins setting the match times/dates/locations but at the same time I don't think it's really warranted
if you have probs ghost just let one of us know, we will be glad to help
