Frag Stats

Ok player frag stats are pointless and no indication of skill to anyone not in those specific games.

But I believe they would show a measure of a players skill (albeit only moderately) if we could still see the fph for each map like it used to be.

Even fph for q2dm7or fact3 --just stupid constant spamming and fragging BUT the players do USUALLy pan out in frags to how good they are in more real games.

Even better if we could see just who won each map played (although the top five or twelve would be excellent --tell the story a bit more)

like  server dm ---q2dm1[11.17.2006:23:04]-Elysium, q2dm2[]-Elysium, q2dm3[]-Elysium, q2dm4[]-Ax2Grind  (Elysium went to tourney4 or made a sandwich or tweaked the output on his graphics card for max performance

This would give players a reason to play more and try to win--for i believe Ax2Grind probably plays another game online while he plays  q2 minimized  except with his headphones cranked up to hear every sound tell by everyone.

i'm a stats junkie.

i'm also a news hound.

i bet the two go hand in hand somehow, personality wise.

i dont invest anything in it, but i find something about stats, INCREDIBLY interesting.  For no real reason.

Its a sickness perhaps.

I too am  a stats junkie, but I rarely look at other peoples stats. Mostly, it's a way to analyze my own performance. For example, I had waaay too many suicides last night, and that's getting me to reconsider some of my rocket tactics in closed areas. Things like that actually do aid me, and I just can't get enough of thems pretty graphs.

i think it would be very cool to bring back the "Fastest Times" stat.  I remember back in the day on CNY Roadrunner, there would be the fastest 15 times shown once fraglimit had been reached.  It was fun to try to get on that board.
