i've been in the uk for about a month now and will be getting a kick ass internet connection soon. can anyone of you in the uk recommend the best wireless intenet connection?

I use a BT home hub, with the bt 8mb / 480 up (though mine is currently screwed up.. ;\), the home hub you get free with the subscription to the connection, i use it with ethernet but it's wireless capable..

yeah I've come to stalk you 
i'm working in Blackpool at the moment. Hate this damn weather! yeah i hear BT is good. Do they do wireless tho? Coz I dunno if I'm gonna be moving soon or not. I want to go to Manchester. And I got a job offer in Lake District (hell knows where that is)So I need wireless so I got internet whereever I go. Vodafone can only give me a one year contract. I don't want contract. At least not for that length of time.

Hows TS been since I've been gone? Did I miss Anything??

Cool, blackpool's about 2hrs away I guess, all ISP's do wireless... it's just ur router + pc that needs to be wireless compatible, but yes if I wanted wireless I could get it with this router that comes with option3  on BT (

I'm in UK and I would go with ntl cabletel,I am on 4 meg broadband and its soon to be upgraded to 10 meg.They are currently testing 40 meg  Also at the start of next year there will be Virgin media which is NTL/Telewest/Virgin ,3 companys into 1 Fook BT they rip you off,also Ntl is very stable and reliable,I have had cable for about 6 years now and in that length of time its been down for about 2 days,that is 2 days over 6 years not 2 days in a row downtime!

And Yeah I dowload at around 500k/sec and upload at about idk 100 I THINK.Spose it depends where u live and whats best for u.
