i've been in the uk for about a month now and will be getting a kick ass internet connection soon. can anyone of you in the uk recommend the best wireless intenet connection?

dude ur in my country? gtfo! word though, where about?

I use a BT home hub, with the bt 8mb / 480 up (though mine is currently screwed up.. ;\), the home hub you get free with the subscription to the connection, i use it with ethernet but it's wireless capable..

i'm working in Blackpool at the moment. Hate this damn weather! yeah i hear BT is good. Do they do wireless tho? Coz I dunno if I'm gonna be moving soon or not. I want to go to Manchester. And I got a job offer in Lake District (hell knows where that is)So I need wireless so I got internet whereever I go. Vodafone can only give me a one year contract. I don't want contract. At least not for that length of time.

Hows TS been since I've been gone? Did I miss Anything??  :frag:

Cool, blackpool's about 2hrs away I guess, all ISP's do wireless... it's just ur router + pc that needs to be wireless compatible, but yes if I wanted wireless I could get it with this router that comes with option3  on BT (

I'm in UK and I would go with ntl cabletel,I am on 4 meg broadband and its soon to be upgraded to 10 meg.They are currently testing 40 meg  :headbang: Also at the start of next year there will be Virgin media which is NTL/Telewest/Virgin ,3 companys into 1 :yessign: Fook BT they rip you off,also Ntl is very stable and reliable,I have had cable for about 6 years now and in that length of time its been down for about 2 days,that is 2 days over 6 years not 2 days in a row downtime!  :oksign:
