server connecting

I connect by clicking on Q2 , multiplayer, and the servers I've added open up. Today none of the tastyspleen servers show up. are they still active? Can someone tell me what the ip address is for the tastyspleen servers? thanks in advance mates!

You can see the active servers here: http://tastyspleen.net/quake/servers/list.cgi

You shouldn't need the actual IP address for tastyspleen.net... The domain name itself, tastyspleen.net, should be fine.  (The IP address is currently 67.19.248.74 - but the reason to use the domain name instead of the IP address, is the IP address may change someday.)

Also - what I do, is keep aliases like the following in my baseq2/autoexec.cfg file:

alias gomut   connect tastyspleen.net:27910
alias gorailz connect tastyspleen.net:27911
alias govan   connect tastyspleen.net:27912
alias gosher  connect tastyspleen.net:27913
alias goctf   connect tastyspleen.net:27914
alias gotourney connect q2.lostourminds.net:27930
alias gotourney2 connect q2.lostourminds.net:27931

Then you can just pull down your console and type "govan" and you'll connect to vanilla.
