I'm just curious about what others think their hell would be.

What type of situation would you absolutely hate to be stuck in for all eternity and why?

This is the question I have to answer for homework and I have a few ideas in mind so far...

- an inability to hear anything. no music =

- colourless world or blind altogether
- inability to eat or drink so I'd always be hungry or/and thirsty
- playing any sport I absolutely hate for all eternity, like flag football, dodgeball, lacross, omg...
- no voice, no communication, inability to sing
- stuck in a white room or just empty space... with no one to talk to
- no electricity
- inability to taste or smell
- inability to touch anything, so I'd be like ghost
- a world with no kindness, friendship, or love
- a world where you KNOW people are watching your every move and they control your movements and actions
- a world where everything is backwards. I'd be so wicked confused
- if I learned that my whole life I'd been living a lie and that the real world is actually somewhere other than here

A few of the above combined definitely sounds pretty hellish to me.

^^^ that sounds like the matrix. but yeah that would suck.

How about...

- living in a world for all of eternity that was just pavement or stone. No nature, no creeks or rivers or lakes. no grass or tree's.

- Or never feeling anything ever again. No love, no hate, no sadness or joy. No frusteration or relief. just nothing... numbness...

I dunno hunny, you pretty much said all the shity things i can think of too, like blindness or electricity.

Very real hell is around us. People living without a purpose or hope, like the walking dead. People lacking emotions, not laughing or being sad, just doing what they are told and hating it every day. Most similar movie would be George Orwell's 1984 "Imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever". I would say that the Biblical reference to heaven is an allegory for living with purpose and truth -- something to be sought on Earth.

Some of Mya's homework answers are I actually activities I pursue.

I had to read 1984[/u] over the summer for AP English. I thought it was a really good book, the only book out of the three we had to read that I actually enjoyed. I got a B+ on my essay though because I rambled too much about stuff that weren't in the book.

No human emotions, stripped of everything that makes someone human, love and all the joys and pleasures in life... and just knowing everything is a lie but you can't fight it... sounds pretty hellish to me.

Don't tell me you like getting hit in the face with a dodgeball (which has happened to me on several occasions and one resulted in a nosebleed) and that you actually ENJOY flag football!!

Mya if you think hell is going to be playing flag football for eternity your sorely mistaken

maybe more like having a giant football inserted rectally with no lube for all of eternity would be more disappointing?
