New textures for JABS

For those of you that are like me and hate the map "jabs" -- the one below --, but found that tasty won't remove it, I have taken a few textures and made it more playable.



As you can see...




Just go into baseq2/textures/jabs , and replace the texture with the ones i've attached to this post.

BTW, we're always happy to field questions about map rotations and suggestions for additions, subtractions, and wholesale changes to the rotation on the forums.  I don't seem to recall a discussion about jabs specifically... but in general if people want a map removed, just say so.  It may not happen if a bunch of other people say, hey, i like that map!  But discussion is always welcome.

Oh it's just that I am annoyed.... or was... with that map.


BTW, I know you guys use some of the maps I picked, and thank you. Maybe, perhaps, it would be better if I came up with a rotation and suggested it. no?

it's one of my favorite insta-gib maps. there's no other quite like it for sweet air rails...

It's just confusing to the nublets cause they jump off of the pads and have no idea where they're gonna end up..

Your Brown Nosing Check List

 

Here is your check list and some tips to get you started on your dazzling rise as the 'cream of the brown nosing crop'.

 

1. Orbit senior staff or any persons of influence at every given opportunity. You never know when a chance to jump in and pucker up will occur.

 

2. Brush up on your work avoidance techniques. These should include: running errands for anyone that can help your career or knows someone well that can put in a good word for you, talking about things you know nothing about, and using general ass kissing measures as required (see brown nosing phrases and compliments).

 

3. Mimic the mannerisms and personalities of senior staff. This will help them recognize you as 'one of them' and will raise your standing in the natural brown nosing pecking order.

 

4. Be a Chameleon and change your position in accordance with the senior staff's whims. (A word of caution here. Never box yourself into a corner on any given position. Another change may be required almost immediately)

 

5. Email this link to any known or potential brown nosing candidates. You may wish to team up as there is safety in numbers when your co-workers find out you did them wrong.
