Ok, well I'm not gonna argue - that was a pretty crap match, like I said I WILL post a better demo sometime - even a Quake 3 Arena demo if y'all have it (I'm actually much better at Q3).

My problems in da demo:
I was playing a crap opponent - everyone plays better when they realise that they have a bit of competition
I didn't jump much - I usually am always jumping - I didn't coz I wanted to sneak up to him
I didn't have sound, hence, not knowing where my opponent was - and he had sound - frikkin 5.1's even, even though Q2 don't have surround sound!
I was playing on software mode with a crap graphics card, which made frames jump occasionally - not a big problem, but still.
It was Q2 - I can't play Q2!!!!!

Ok, you can obviously say that I'm just coming up with lame escuses, but, the reason I posted that demo was because that's the only Q2 deathmatch demo I've got of myself, and, I wanted to show that I am definitely a better player than on tastyspleen, and didn't have the patience to record another demo.

Oh, and Punk, the demo wasn't meant for educational use. (you're way better than me anyway - I'll just stick to things I'm good at, which ain't Q2)

haha well all those reasons are fine, i just dont see why you put up such a lame demo up, you were asking for it, honestly it didnt seem you like played any better in that demo than you do on the tasty spleen servers, im sure in q3 you are at BEST average, tho i wouldnt be surprised if you were below average

Team Arena
Rocket Arena
WFA
Jailbreak
Threewave CTF
Q3Fortress

Between those, Threewave CTF is my favorite.

I played some rocket arena 3, cool mod I guess I just never got into their community much. My favorite mod for q3 was always promode tho, I love the aerowalk remake (cpm22)

agreed, quake3 = WORST GAME EVER !! they coulda done alot better with it

no.. i think it was on gamespot, but its an official statement from id software.. so google Q4 and you'll prolly find it somewhere

i found that, you mis-read it

it says that taking "ideas" from the other quake games
not adding quake2 for single and quake3 for multi

yes- i heard that about q4 also ... that the physics will be very similiar to q3.

yep... i think that totally sucks.. Q2 physics are soo much better
just need some ragdoll stuff to go along with it

if you havent seen em yet, theres 2 Q4 trailers floatin around, it LOOKS really fuckin nice... ID software and Raven makin i believe
