Skins and settings

Now that the tasty servers seems to be the most used servers these days, I just wondered if there could be an option to allow any skins and vote different settings when not being a tourney match going on? Playing teams with both skins being ctf_b (blue skins) can get complicated and frustrating at times. Luckily for me I see the female/ctf_b-skin as male/grunt, but others aren't as fortunate And playing practice games for 15 minutes at the time can be pretty tiresome in the long run, would be better with 10 minutes games so people not playing didn't need to wait so long. If not on both, then maybe one of the servers.

Anyway, when tourney games are going on the ref present could just exec a tourney.cfg with the settings required in the tourney, and leave the server open when not being a game there.

If not, then maybe consider using ctf_r for one of the skins to make it easier for teamplay

And if this is totally out of the question, then nevermind

i editted my pak so its not a problem for me anymore but for most the skins might be the same causing teams on the server pretty sloppy, teamkills and other boring stuff.. and 15min is too long for pubs, i hate waiting 10 min to get in a game let alone 15.. I agree with daelmun, would make the servers that much better

For the Timelimit - it should not be a problem.
Referees can change it back to 10mins after they reffed their Official Match.

For the skins, I am aware that most of the tdm games end up with some players that can't see the skins (for some reason), and see all-grunt. We will probably bring it back to 'teamskin unlocked' - and will ask Referees to force people to change their skins to ctf_b for Official Matches.

Can some1 tell me if my CTF skin is correct:



To make sure I had the right files, I deleted the ones in my female directory, then connected to the tourney server with d/l ON, and I still got the above.

When playing teams, I find this very hard to distinguish from the male ctf skin when far away ... is this right, or just me?

WOW, so we have 3 different skins for the same filename.  Now I am really confuzed.
How the heck do I get the right one?

im pretty sure dukie's is the right one.. i just hacked my pak for my skin so i can see em better.
