I won't disagree that the problem could be prevented by someone being better than boat.
All you'd have to do to stop his spammage would be put 15 scores up that are better than any he's ever had.

See... if he was cheating in some way to get those scores, then yes remove them. But if he's legit, that isn't fair. In a way he is exploiting the scoring system but that a tough one because he isn't doing anything illegal that's making it easy for him to get those scores.

Ok so Sheridan top score and streak score... Say some guy gets all of his friends in there and they let him kill them over and over and over till they beat the scores and got something unbeatable given the fact hardly anyone plays there to make it possible to get the score legitly. I believe that is a exploitation of the scoring system that is a score removable offense. This is because he basicly cheated to get those scores. (Kobra did this already, I keep a keen eye on the server now)

On b0at's hand in the jumpmod, all he's doing is jumping his best. He isn't doing something that's giving him a unfair advantage to get the top scores. The server isn't letting him win like it was letting Kobra win.

When people join the server and use 5 or 6 different names its not fair.. HE does it to be an asshole...

The fact is jump mod goes by completions and times for your player score... You score isnt legit when you have 3 or 4 players who spam the score board..

Its like being in a raffle.. Your not allowed to win all 3 top prizes.. You only get 1 prize....

Or should i say it like this...

if i have 3 pieces of candy and im told to share it with    Toxic , kingsize and my self.. If i give kingsize a piece and i reat the other 2 its not fair because toxic didnt get any candy..

Its 1 thing to have your name on the board 2 times on accident... But when you have 1st place there is no need to spam all 15 spots.. Im a fair person.. I play straight down the line... Unless your a repeated offender..

Ohh yeah let me add this in... Jump mod is unfair not days also because you dont have to log in.. Used to on most servers you had to sign in... Thats how it should be now... for every ip 1 username and pw... not 20 different names being used by 1 player...


Jump has always been 1 player ( EG.. Bob) 1 score...  Bob uses another name he would be warned and time removed.. if he kept doing it he would get ban...

What is not fair about this? You are still missing the point. No matter what name the guy is using, he is getting a legit highscore on each name. I change my name too often and I get the top 3 killing sprees scores for all TS servers. I didn't do it to be an asshole, I just enjoy using different handles now and then. Whether I'm doing it to be a jerk or not, I'm doing better then everyone else and that's no reason why my scores should be deleted. Sounds to me like you want your name on those lists so you can contribute to your power trip of being a low level admin of the jump server.

I am voicing my opinion on that topic. The fact those high scores have anything to do with the jump mod is irrelevant to me. I was not taking shots anyone in particular in this thread.  Even being a "lowely" jump admin,  Critter is doing what  he feels right.
Not spamming the scoreboard is in the "spirit" of jump,  and removing the spam is right in that respect.

It's in boat's best interest as far as stats to keep one name, so I dont think this is going to be a huge problem.

ebolarama's highstreak: total(142)
biledriver's highstreak: total(126)
jagermonsta's highstreak: total(126)
licksore's highstreak: total(119)

All my handles above. So I'm sorry, top 5 killing sprees, I must of been delusional.

Elysium was 6th with 114. Shit, look at more current 'all' (newest stats I don't rank because I hardly played, busy busy) stats... balsac or jagermonsta rank 1st and or 3rd in each posted.

You need to do more research before you call me a liar.

Of course you can, I'm not saying you can't post here, I would never be in favor of someone not being able to express their opinion. The point I was trying to establish is that I didn't understand why you would want to post in the jump threads if you didn't take interest in jumping. I now see the fact that you "don't like jumping and that it brings problems"? It only brings problems when it's not administered properly.  If there were more admins taking more actions, I believe the problems would be a lot less.  If the server was setup to allow logins for names, then you wouldn't have the naming issue, it would be a moot point.  I feel that people are allowed too much freedom on the jump server and therefore it's abused quite often. I go mainly for the idea, of, if you wanna bash, have a solution. Otherwise, you're just adding to the problem. In this case, Critter saw a problem and a means to fix it. I admire him for taking some actions. I feel that not ehough actions are taken. I hope to see more of it. Next I think we should work on those who come to the jump server (not the forums) only to disrupt those that want to jump. Spammers, map voters, etc.  Instead, these players are allowed to do as they please and run those that are serious about jumping, away.
  On the vanilla server you can add your mapvote to a que. On the jump server, if you are playing with 2 other players and they want to change the map before you can finish, you're up the creek. It's irrelevant if you just spent 15 minutes figuring out how to get thru it.
  In closing, it's a little difficult to compare vanilla, dm, or tourney to the jump server, it's like comparing apples to oranges. There are many different variables between them.

The only thing to understand is that Haunted is the supreme ruler of this forum section and jumpmod. Critter delete the obvious ones like b0at1-# and silence him when he's being annoying. Problem solved. If you (or anyone else) still find him annoying then maybe you should grow up and learn to laugh at his shit, being that he's a total idiot and you do not know him outside q2 jumpmod. Taking his shit seriously is ridiculous.
