Duplicate Times --- Being Deleted

I am deleting dup. times..  Like b0at has beat about 70 maps as followed.

boat1
boat2
boat3
and etc.

also as taliban^ , Pitri , berlyn.... Since he now uses the name boat i will be deleting this old alias times.. If he spams this name on the score board as he has been doing i will keep his best time and delete the rest.. Its very unfair to other players for him(boat) and a few others to spam there names on the score boards... I find it childish and unacceptable.

I find it fair for boat to do so. He's putting up top scores that can't be beat. If you can't beat them then your name doesn't go up there. Simple. I don't think it's fair of you to delete his scores. Pretty childish way out.

if someone beat my score and then got a better score then me again and again till my name was off the chart then I would except it because they are obviously better then me and deserve to have their name on the board. I think it's pretty weak you delete a guys name/scores just because your not good enough to beat his scores.

Maybe I would be upset but what can I do? Besides puss out and delete his scores. What can I do? I can practice and get better that way I can beat his scores. I just don't think it's fair to delete high scores even if the guy is doing it to be a jerk. Those are high scores nobody can beat but himself. He rules the jump server.

damn right you don't, jumpmod is lame. q2 is a first person shooter.

whether I jump or not it doesn't have anything to do with the topic of deleting high scores because you can't beat them.

The mod keeps track of player names for a reason.
It keeps track of the top 15 I guess...  so thats fame for the top 15 players on that map. 

Get the top score..  and you get the number 1 spot...
you get a time better than that it should be listed under
the same name,  not take the slot for the second best player.
and the third,  and the fourth...

Jump mod could have just kept track of the top 15 times,
then you would see the same name in each slot if it was
all the same person,  but, it keeps track of player names...
 for a reason

So he's going a bit slower each time to get his name down the list. So, he's a jerk?

Jumpmod doesn't allow your name to be on the highscore list more then once? I am unaware of this but if this is true. I think that's unfair and wacked. Either way, I see him doing nothing wrong. Oh well.

yeah jager. it only lets you put your exact name on there once for each map, but it will say your current fastest time for that map, and how many times you've completed it. So if you only used "jager" as your name, every time you beat it, it would add a completion to the "jager" on the scoreboard, instead of putting your name up there every time you get a good score.

It's legit playing that gets him the high scores, it's just all the shady name-changin that's the problem.
If he's the server-champ, all he needs is a score on top of every high score list, not every entry on every list.

Ok I understand the scoring better now.  However my opinion hasn't changed.

Yes the guy is being an asshole for doing that. But those scores are not being beaten because they are the best. Where in the rules does it say you can't have all top 15 high scores... It's not cool but the fact it's legit is my problem. He's good and his scores deserve to be up there. By the way, I don't know this guy and he must be an asshole but it's not fair in my eyes to delete scores just because you can't beat them. You should grab your balls and learn to play jump better. That's how his lame ass boat1 boat2 etc should be replaced.
