What is your most disappointing game ever? I buy games all the time and play the good ones for 10 minutes, and the really good ones for 20 minutes before launching Q2, leaving yet another $50 purchase on the shelf to collect dust. I just got Company of Heroes, every magazine and website rated it highly, but I have to say, its like a standard strategy game with all the fun taken out. Anyone have any opinions as to the biggest highly rated pile of digital dung?

Pariah for my xbox.

Such shitty gameplay....big beautiful maps but dumbass AI and crappy weapons interface ruined what could have been a fantastic game.

Almost bought that game but decided against it within a couple days of the release. Looks like I made the right choice.

Usually I enjoy all of the console games I play. On the PC, there is one game that stands out above the rest as the most disappointing. That game is Unreal Tournament 2003. I was a huge fan of the original Unreal Tournament, but the developers of 2K3/2K4 completely tarnished every aspect about the original UT that I enjoyed. The maps were horrendously small, the guns were not fun to use, annoying AI that taunted you with repetitive sayings, etc. I never really gave Unreal Tournament 2004 a chance, but it was very similar to 2003 from what I played. I am looking forward to Unreal Tournament 2007 which I will get for the Xbox 360/PS3 upon release.

yeah... I never got nto UT, but my friends have. All agree it's gone downhill, but look for 07 to redeem it.

I stopped getting dissapointed in games awhile ago... I just stopped buying them.

I collected every FPS I could find. Looking for something I would enjoy as much as Quake1.
RedFaction II was fun, but all the others I was picking up blew.. I got Q2 in a 4pack of games.
Didnt even really look at it much, untill I met a friend at work who was into q1 and q2.

I thought UT2k4 was fun. I loved the power node mod with the vehicles.

The Manta ruled! Put it in squishing mode over the opposing teams very last spawn point. Get like 30+ kills in a row, you get the "HOLY SHIT!!!" sound wav., that ruled.

That mode was Onslaught and it was definitely pretty fun Jager. I actually played Ut2k4 for awhile with DaHanG and thought it was pretty sweet, but I didn't stay into it for very long. One of the most disappointing games for me personally was Halo 2.

Ahh yes Onslaught. That kicked ass! So much fun.

I enjoyed the double jumps and double strafts n stuff. That was pretty cool. Mainly I stopped playing because nobody was playing it... the servers I had on my list were relatively 80% of the time. Was disappointing... I prob had it on some fucked up setting though... playing q4 now when I can. ra4.

Yeah no shit....the multiplayer is so fucking slow it's retarded. That and there is such a huge gap between playing abilities.

There are so many crappy games out there it would be easier just to name the good ones.

Q2-duh!
Doom3- not too bad playing it now, tried the multi-player-doesnt look to promising
URT2K4-Not too bad in multi-player-driving tanks is fun!

Old school games-
Galaga-Hours of fun!

PS2 games-
Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks-Like mortal kombat but 3rd person, still use cool combos and kill multiple peoples,fataliteis!
Punisher-Human shields!-nuff said

Lately it was Halo for the xbox. I got bored with the 1 player game. It has floaty jumps and crappy controls (I guess due to the controller). I know some people think it is game God's gift to gaming, but I would guess that most of these people don't play first person shooters on a computer online.
