exactly. wow is too easy. I know a kid who couldnt ever cut it in oldschool eq, highest level character he ever got was like 35 or something. Now hes got two level 70s in wow and leads his guilds raids

wow has basically no death penalty. oldschool eq's death penalty was very harsh. and then there was the pvp servers. those wow carebear treehuggers wouldnt last a day on the eq pvp servers, they'd get griefed off and go cry.

Was going to mention I play Anarchy Online. Theres going to be bitching about the god grind from around 130-200 but hell, I'm not 200 for a reason. Plus AI levels, plus SL levels plus the new LE perks (Alien Invasion Expansion, Shadowlands Expansion, Lost Eden Expansions).

So top level is actually 220. I have many toons top levels are 105/99/82. And I have a few lowbie pvp twinks. But having a level 24 with a weapon you'd use at around 40-50 is quite nice. But the game has some big downfalls. Graphics engine is old (Around 10 years), If you aren't a paying player even if your level 100, paying players still think your a noob or treat you like shit 50% of the time. And rich, oldschool, paying players are about as stuck up as tampons. Should go for it thou, its free. But you have limitations like your max level is 200, cant use the Keeper or Shade profesion, can't use AI/SL/LE Weapons which go up to ql 300, no perks, can't use symbiants. So wow's still lame, but a guy at work went to blizzcon and bought 2 pre-release sets of WoW's Warhammer rip off board game. We played and it is quite fun. It's less wow and more hero quest/Warhammer which makes it enjoyable. Once it becomes magic the gathering and they start selling new sets and he who spends more money wins, it will no longer be fun. But while it's currently a strategy game in the style of risk/axis & alies/Stratego where all players essentially "draw form the same deck" It's quite fun.

yeah, her boyfriend has some characters on it and plays it every once in awhile but they each have their own separate accounts also (so three accounts in total, two people playing, therefore one extra account no one really uses)

I played Munchkin today with my roomie and her bf and my other roomie. It was a lot of fun, it's kind of like a RPG game, except not. lots of fun times. Perfect way to end a Friday night.

This is more common than you may realize. Don't be offended when I tell you that you are simply their Mule. (also it may be related to the event that allows existing accounts to gain extra experience while grouping with a new account that they invited using a specific promotional code or something along those lines)
