lol, my top 10 changes every week. Anyone who is inclined to listen to new bands and is open-minded to music knows what I mean. The 10 I've been listening to more so lately are:

testament, metallica, in flames, kreator, soilwork, slayer, anthrax, anihilator, 3 inches of blood, darkane, overkill

I guess you could call soilwork and in flames a little mainstream now, but they're fucking great. I lol @ people that listen to bands depending on how mainstream they are.

immolations damn good too, but i cant find any of their albums around here

every hardcore death metalhead seems to love suffocation, very talented band, just never fit my personal tastes

Yeah suffocation seems to be "in" these days. I think they were pretty average since Pierced from within. But their first albums are classic, not sure if you've heard them. Effigy of the Forgotten is awesome.

Effigy is the only album of theirs i have, and it is pretty good.. I still dont think it lives up to some of the greats, like Death, Venom,Morbid Angel, early Deicide and whatnot.. but i continue to hear comparisons to all these bands and more, ah well thats the way of music fans i suppose, comparisons are odious.

Hi...and i am not Maxior

It's easy for me......Megadeth is less heavy than many others in my choices,but it don't mean Megadeth is less good..Megadeth and Prong arn't heavy and sick as Fetus and cies,but they kick butt too!!
