I think halo is weak by comparison to q2.

If anyone would like to play a grudge match, It'll have to be Quake 2.

I'll happily play 1v1 or 1 v however many people you can get together on one server with pk tags.

It makes perfect sence that 99% of the people here say Quake 2 is better than halo... after all, this IS a Quake community.

I'm sure if one of us went to www.haloist3hshiz.com/phpbb and said Quake 2 is better, we would get the same type of responce.

Xfire works. I won't say how well, since the only alternatives really don't work at all anymore.
(except for ASE which is losing servers by the minute for some reason...)

hell i couldnt even find the server browser at all

not to mention how clunky it is

Xtyfe, you probably couldn't get a server browser going on it cause you didn't set quake2 as "installed" in the games tab on the "options" menu.

goto tools --> options --> Games

I've tried to stay out of this thread, but I just can't do it any longer.
First of all, they didn't come here talking about how good Halo is. Ya'll threw the first punch. They simply mentioned that they are a Halo clan, who came here to TastySpleen to play Quake2. And i'm the one that talked them into that. But ya'll have made me regret that now.

It doesn't matter if thier main game is Tiddleywinks online, they are here to play Q2 as well, not be hashed out about how much you think Tiddleywinks online sucks.

Why in the hell would anymore of them want to make a move over to here after reading how thier Q2 arrival thread got turned into a Q2 vs Halo battle thread.
We should be greatful to get new players, not piss them off the game before they can even get in the door good.
