Forget about it.  plastik had enough of you people because of the way you harassed him, so he left the community.  And for good reason!

It was his idea and nobody else here is dedicated enough to set another one up.  You are more than welcome to prove me wrong.  These ungrateful people drove him away even though he created http://tourney.tastyspleen.net/, he started up the demo section of the forums, and created the Tasty 500 tournament for everyone to enjoy.  But of course your nature got the best of you.

I remember somebody suggested a FFA tournament with no frag limit or time limit.

Though another epic 500 ffa may be a little gratuitous, I'm all in favor of having more public events on a regular basis, perhaps weekly.

One idea that came up in #tastyspleen was the possibility of having a thread leading up to each event to vote on mods and maps. This would allow for some good server population on some of the lesser-used servers, ctf for example.

Having these events would help stimulate community activity without the segregation of tourneys, and damn, I wouldn't mind seeing a weekend event where people are flooding the ctf server. >D
