Blast from the past :P

I was bored tonight and was looking around on the net and stumbled across the old demise essays, including the one I wrote for config help (which is so outdated it made me laugh) but it was cool 5-6 years ago when I was a teenager. This was before revilla put up his site and the only config help was the scattered stuff on planetquake, which imo was never very good for newer players.

Dunno how many of you were around back then but if you don't know what I'm talking about nogame wrote a lot of essays to help q2players like dael does now, back then I was so impressed that I volunteered to write one of my own

Anyways, I saved all six essays and have reposted them on the clutch site for you guys to check out if anyones interested.

Excellent post, man.  While some things are dated, of course (most of the embedded links won't work for screenshots, etc.), there's still a bunch of timeless info there.
