**HAUNTED'S TOURNEY PREDICTIONS**

Okay... these are my comments and what i believe to be the outcomes of the final matches in the tournament.  Due to the fact of unknown players, i cant say much about the 1st and 2nd round so im gonna start with the 3rd.

Set #1:
daelmun is definitely the favorite in this one, 2nd to him is kong.. i dont think that daelmun will have too much trouble winning this one..

Set #2:
My favorite in this set is Daized.  The reason for this for all of you graphite lovers (banes for the most part) is that graphITE is that graphite 1. Does not know any other map than dm1 2. Is an ffa'er, and wont compare to Daized strategically. 2nd on my list would probably be graphite, then bigwig.

Set #3:
10's got this one im pretty sure... (BTF element).. i dont see really anyone else who will compete with him in this set.

Set #4:
Cant give a solid prediction on this one because i really dont know anyone but sean in this set, but knowing sean, and guessing that the rest are ffa'ers than hes probably got this one.

Set #5:
Cartman pretty much has this one... 2nd is me i guess, I would have to pull something pretty crazy to beat him which probably wont happen..    haha...

Set #6:
The Crazed will most likely come on top with this one...

Set #7:
I have no clue who any of these people are, but the important thing is, is that adrenaline will beat whoever it is.. haha...

Set #8:
Adrenaline, definitely. Applejacks is supposed to be good in ffa with decent aim, but Adrenaline's 1v1 skills will overpower him strategically.

I'm thinking daized on this one.. but you never know, the past few months the great (da)elmun has been getting EVEN better and can have his shining moments... but yes my favorite is daized..

10 VS sean
This one is kind of hard... 10 being a good player that hasnt 1v1'd in awhile and sean a decent player... the outcome can vary.. however im still going to pick 10 for the winner of this one.

Cartman VS the crazed
Cartman will most likely have this one, the crazed being not that bad of a player, but cartman being more active and in my opinion better, it seems to me that he has this one.

Some guy who adrenaline will beat VS adrenaline

hhhhhhmmmmmm.. this one is sorta hard also...... dont have much to say about it butttttttttttt i think daized might have this one.

Even though cartman is a decent player, i believe this will be his last match... Im pretty sure adrenaline will have this one.

Both good players... another one i dont have too much to comment about butt.. i think adrenaline is going to come on top.

oh.. and my predictions werent based on skill level.. some of them were close that i just guessed sort of.. i mean i was thinking whoever wins the dael VS daized match wins it all.. but then i watched some recent demos of adren.. if it were possible its a toss up between the 3...

i would put money on it if one of them won.

if I make it to the final 4 I consider it a win for me..  I was never big on 1v1's, then again, a lot of peopel cheated back when I wasn't big on them

Well I seen haunted earlier and he told me he made some tourney predicts so I figured I would check them out. I think you should've included the maps in each round of predicts, because different players on maps they don't feel comfortable on don't play the same, and despite the fact that aerowalk and grom_dm3 are old school maps some people simply don't like them at all, and never cared to develop their own strat for it. I would consider myself pretty open to new maps, and will play just about anywhere and I havent played grom_dm3 but maybe 3 times in all the time Ive played q2. Even the slightest bit of knowledge on some of these maps can make the difference between you and them, keep that in mind.

btw: KobraKlaws{MOD} - I've included a demo of me playing bigwig on the edge like 5 months ago, I don't remember much about the game but it seems like he rushes too much and goes for rail when he shouldn't, maybe check it out if you have the chance. I hope it helps you out some.

yeah, i agree the maps do have a big impact on the match, i thought about including it... but with more than a few players i had no clue what maps the fare in the best.  With the several inactive/unknown players to me, i decided to do it a little less elaborate.

oh and, there was a few matches which i could have gone either way...

and me VS cartman just because im the best practically and all my matches are exciting....

Great work on the predictions haunted, and thanks for kind words and all Can't say I see myself as a favourite to win it all, so good to see someone has some common sense here.

And sean has a good point, the maps in each round will certainly play a part, when players are 20/80 in skill the map doesn't matter all that much, but when it closes in on 60/40 suddenly the right map can mean everything. And some maps just suits the aim/arcade style of playing, while other are more tactical, so I certainly can see games where ping will matter some. And as all games are played on the tastyspleen servers (hi laurelin) I would think the ones pinging lowest would have a clear advantage in games where it's 60/40 or so.

But that being said, I don't think it is such a bad thing, people will know what maps they play and with what ping they play. All they need to do is to do everything they can to find out how to overcome any obstacle between them and the victory. I'm not playing to win it all, I rather see some totally unkown player win with die hard dedication to learning I'm just hoping the tourney will maybe get some people to consider playing even more TDM and stay around on the tdm servers keeping the q2 TDM scene alive with the freshness that new players brings.
