1) When you are unable to complete a map, be sure to express your hatred of the map over and over again.

Should we ban people who proceed to break the rules on jump server?

Did we ever post any rules anywhere?  What are the rules?  (Besides the ones Reflex posted. )

So far it seems like we're having issues with:

  - spamming too much
  - voting maps too often
  - using multiple aliases to flood the high scores for a map
  - reconnecting to the server to vote even more often than allowed by the mod
  - connecting multiple times to gain more voting power


Now, some of these seem more offensive than others, to me.  Spamming can already be addressed with a mute.  Connecting multiple times to gain extra votes, on the other hand, is something where I don't have trouble saying, "Don't do that. If you do, there will be consequences."

Anyway, my point is if we're going to take punitive action against players for breaking rules, we should probably codify what the rules are.

Did I miss any issues in my list?

maybe another issue is people changing names to do a map for someone else,

The spamming has to come to a stop.... And the top 10 list flooding has to stop.

There is a 12 year old girl who plays the jump server... And when people tell her " can i fuck your pussy" as D3L stated... and i have a condump....  This behavior should not be tollerated... YOu dont tell a little girl that shit ... First its sexual harassment... Second just becuase she is a girl doesnt mean she shouldnt be able to play in peace..

I warn D3L about that..  and i will not warn him again... Statments that are sexually harassing like that can cause tastyspleen alot of trouble... These kids need to realize that Quadz "console" ownz this shit... and not them and they need to be alittle more respectful of what he is doing for the quake2 community. He is fighting to make the game last....

I couldn't agree more with toxic. It's ok for you to be silly from time to time, but you guys have gone over the edge with the stupid comments. Seriously, this isn't 2nd grade online. Take that crap elsewhere. The jump server is a place to jump and enjoy it, not somewhere to come and pester those trying to jump. If you don't want to complete the map, get on an 3am and you can mapvote until your heart's content. Take it to the playground, not the jumpserver.
