My Special Stormy Night
==================

The Clouds grew darker,
thicker.
Lightning flashed,
Thunder roared.

It was a cool spring evening,
soft sporatic rain fell from the sky.
The night seemed at a loss,
but that was hardly the case.

For tonight was special,
she is the reason I come out.
No rain storm will hold me back,
this moment I have waited for too long.

When the moment arrived,
Time dwindled past slowly.
Seconds seem like minutes,
minutes like hours.

The look in her eyes,
sparkling, and so radient.
The smile upon her face,
more beautiful then ever imagined.

I felt really lucky,
for this young woman is quite special.
She then took my hand,
as if I was the reason she smiled.

I was quite taken,
by this new friend of mine.
I wanted to kiss her,
but that is saved for another time.

The reason I write this,
to show my feelings are true.
I should have just told you,

I was too shy.
