why the fuck is detect0r still on tastyspleen servers? ..quadz do us a favor and ban him already..this is getting a little out of hand.

quadz has been pretty busy.

people will slip through subnet bans at times. To be more religous would lock out too many innocents.

The most constructive thing you could do is post a time and server that person was seen there so the subnet ban can be tightened.

He hasn't been banned because I keep hoping for a convincing demo. We did get one demo a month or so ago, accusing him of wallhacking. I recall having a reasonable doubt after watching the demo... I'll watch it again tonight and see if I still feel the same way.

What is he being accused of in general? Always wallhacking? Or other aimbot style hax as well?

Alright, I watched haunted's POV demo again... I'll agree detect0r's play style changed suddenly when he claimed to have "turned his sound on". Before that he spent most of the game being surprised by and running away from haunted's rockets. Then he "turned his sound on" and started making more or less 'perfect guesses' as to haunted's location, even when haunted was crouching out of sight.

So, yeah, that doesn't look too kosher.

Here's a follow-up question, though: Is detect0r still being accused of hacking now, with the anti-wallhack protection enabled on all servers? If so, I'd definitely love to see a demo of that, as I don't yet have proof that such a hack exists.

I can prove though, beyond a shadow a doubt, that the Protection REALLY messes
with the higher pinged players.

In a game vs Luci I was by the door under ssg, and saw him get on the elevator.
What I didnt see untill I saw the demo, was him jumping from elevator into the sg room.

So to me it looked like he got on the elevator, then was jumping out from sg room 2 seconds later
with a rocket or 2 flying at me.

Nothing to be done about it I'm sure, except as adrenaline put it
"get a connection you cheap ass bastard"

P.S. every time the word 'him' apears in this post, it was origionaly 'her'

Yeah quadz, I was purposely setting him up for the most obvious wallshots to incriminate himself. Also, he was never accused... he was caught multiple times by the assassins protection, I was just looking at the list (of about 40 people) a year and a half ago.. too bad the site is down now $:-\$

actually detector was never logged with a cheat as far as i know on assassins. whatever he was using was pretty undetectable. here is the logs of who was caught with nocheat. kickr0 was also caught with storm1x along with a few other people but i dont have those logs handy.

dets 1 of the most obvious hackers to play q2, when he's legit anyone on this forum could beat him, and when he's walling/bot he is at ditzu's level. the fact ditzu is banned and det isnt is wierd since they have been best friends for a long time and always played together (hacked together)

btw as for randys post, i believe kickro has hacked but rarely so i dont care about it, the fact Krez was the one making this stormix list is reason enough to throw that list in the garbage, the last time we played a real 1on1 was on assassins and i raped krez 22-0 and he kicked me from the server i typed reconnect and he said i connected to fast and that was a tell tale sign of a stormix user

then i was banned for a day or 2 and unbanned, krez is just a crybaby bitch of a sore loser

Actually, Granny was caught using stormix in several team games, and thats why he was banned.

It has nothing to do with any imaginary 1v1 with krez that didn't happen (except in Granny's mind).

Krez didn't even play 1v1s when Assassins's Gxmod was up and running, he just stuck to team games.
