Because he hadn't given any news here on the Boards. Being on the Servers doesn't mean you actually partcipate in the Tourney. However I talked to him yesterday and he's getting one more day of practice then schedule. So I'll take him off the list.

Looked forward to this match, which sorta was the highlight of round 1 in my eyes. Banes being the guy talking so much smack that the tourney actually was born. And the crazed a player I've played a lot with and also the guy that first told me about the tourney, and also the guy I've seen play for hours straight on the server lately. Thought it actually would come down to a third map

Anyway, only watched the aerowalk demo, and it was a close exciting game. Think The Crazed got pretty stressed near the end when he did some minor mistakes that eventually costed him the win, like not taking mega which led to banes pickng it up as well as getting RA taking control of the map. Anyway, that's stuff that happens in the heat of the battle, and just shows that all the details I try to preach about are not so insignificant. I would like seeing both of these guys through to the next round though, both have showed some serious dedication in improving lately and would hope they stick around after the tourney is over as well.

Gotta admit it's fun having banes through though, his activity on the forum is unmatched, and certainly adds a bit of life to the tourney

Oh, and games like these are a good argument for players recording their own demos. Winners pov are the best pov 95% of the time. Just a thought for the next rounds (think this is the third time I say it )

Also didn't realize on aero that only half a minute was left when I was just sitting on the MH... probably should have been running... "turtling" banes calls it    And he's right... i just kind of avoid confrontation... need to work on my strat...

As for ztn2dm2...    man... that was embarrassing.  I'm avoiding watching that demo for a few days.  Anyways, well done, banes, good luck against your buddy pawnzo.   Oh, and we're gonna play ztn2dm2 again and again and again until I at least get a tie.... well.. what the hell..... a WIN!
