What categories for the Forum do y'all need? Get some people in here and make some noise. Convince me the server is actually being used!

Hi!

The server is most definitely being used!!

We have a full house for hours at a time every day, where players are waiting in line to get in.  And even in the wee hours of the morning, there are usually several people playing.

My suggestions for categories would be these:

General Discussion-Quake 2 or anything
Trouble Shooting- If somebody is have technical difficulties
Skins, Models and Maps-Players post the skin or model they are using
Bot discussion-New bots on the Horizon and how to recognize and stop them

Yes Ive been playing here on and off for long long time..
used to go by the name pinkdotts
anyhow. Yes the server is great..has been.!
anyhow helping keep the server cleen of all the pesky bots and cheaters is great, im sure alot of our players are thankful for that. Maybe if we could have the old forum groups back. ?

 Me, I missed the forums terribbbibbly...  but, tuning into the server is almost as good sometimes - some peeples really get to going
I specially like the koth maps being thrown in from time to time... I've got a few nifty maps from my old CSW clan days if someone wants to look at them. Some rail only, some underwater, some, well, there's a couple where the high towers are the places to be.....

the last xquake forums that Pretzel had, there was a admins folder that was passworded and only the xquake admins could get into it.

Yes! I love this server =D   I havent been around as long as some of the others around here but I remember when I first came back from my break.  I was looking through all of the servers. Server after server after server.  What did I see? q2dm1 q2dm1 q2dm1!! Argh!!  

Then I came upon xquake.  I was actually surprised to see that the "console" actually interacted with the people on the server.. I had never seen that before.  And I must say it was pretty nifty  Its nice to know there is always someone on the look out.

Since then I find myself checking out other servers occasionally, but I always come back here.. to be honest i cant find a server that even compares  great peeps, fun times, and happy fraggin!!  UnF UnF!!

I've played this server since it first came up (or round abouts). It's definately my favorite. The good, fast connection helps alot, as I'm only about 200 miles as the crow flies from it    I also know that this is the best connecting server for many players all around the country!

There were only a dozen really good servers for me in the early days. This one was at the top not only for the excellent connect, but I bored of playing the same 'ol eight dm maps over and over. The single player maps that Xquake ran (and still does) were a breath of fresh air.

Slowly over the years, most of the good servers have vanished. There are only a few left. Hopefully this one will live on

Yo Art.. It stays up as long as y'all keep it up. THere was a time I was going to take it down because of all the damn complaints about bots and this and that. But ever since i handed off the rcon pass, things have been great!
