as i said earlier in this post:

Hyperblaster is very effect for spamming close corridors or if you are in the water (hyper does about 9 dmg per hit) and when in water people arent moving fast enough to escape it usually. When in the water be aware that people move much faster down than they do side to side or up so focus on the lower parts of their person (legs) more than the upper parts.

Having run into you on Mutant a few times, Xtyfe, I think that you, myself, Adam, and Omega are all around the same level. Granted, you and I have been playing for a _long_ time (started Q2 in early '98, played NQ and QW since '96) .. but hey, this is where we're at. Adam and Omega are always online and often up for a game..and I'm certainly down for some frags in the evenings. I'd also like to improve, and I'm sure they would, too. So let's try to get some games together on the novice server - or on our own "quiet" place.

Regarding the novice server, I've found that it often fills up with sport/pro players, which really pisses me off. I shouldn't get skunked on a novice server.. I'm not that green. Sport/pro players need to understand that getting beatup on a server that's reserved for novice players is really frustrating for those who seek that level of play for good reasons.

i dont even use keys to bind my weapons
i have a script that takes care of it all

bind MWHEELDOWN "use shotgun;use machinegun;use hyperblaster;use chaingun;use super shotgun;play aliases/change"
bind MWHEELUP "use grenades;use grenade launcher;use railgun;use rocket launcher;play aliases/change"

i can press mwheeldown once for supershotgun and then again for the chain
press mwheelup for rocket and then again for rail
if i dont have any of those, it picks the next best one

no offence to omega, but i think adam is a much more experinced player
id say im in the middle between them

I bind my powerful weapons explicitly. An auto-change just wouldn't work for me. I put more thought into which weapon to use than that.

My point wasn't to rank each of us to each other, but rather to point out that there are other novice players around who are eager to improve..possibly together.
