Dude,

I'm impressed at your knowledge, but I am shocked at one VERY VERY MASSIVE gap in your knowledge of jumps.

You TOTALLY left out one category!

I saw a match played by an anonymous player (but he was REALLY good). He was at the upper GL on Q2DM1. Well he jumps toward the wall and then does an RJ off the sidewall and lands at the entrance to the mega room. Man that was kick-ass.

I love this game.

That jump is really easy if you just try it you'll see it's not hard. I can do it quite often, but when I want to rocketjump from GL to mega i prefer doing a rocketspeedjump. Firing at the wall while jumping, and use the speed to make a speedjump and jump all the way across. That way I can pretty much decide where I want to land on the ledge

on the map the edge i have seen some people like alk on the wall or something to get that 200 heath pack on top of the crates, i was wondering how to get it with out rocket jumping?

Also, check out the very first post in this thread. Daelmun describes how to do various jumps verbally. Then take a look at some examples, such as the demos here:

Watch the "daelmun's q2dm1 jumps". There's a whole section of the demo dedicated to jumps in that yellow armor / megahealth room.
