Any chance you can set the health lower or up the power of the railgun so there are no corpses in the rail server?

After about 3 minz in a full server my guy always trips over the carcuses.

Actually isn't there a command that makes it so players explode into like 50 million gibs

The rail server is instagib, so shard or not, you are dead if their aim is true. What I'm saying is to make it so the hapless receiver of the slug explodes into a million parts instead of leaving a corpse.

Plus is there any chance I can get my hand on the rail server log? I would like to post stats to my website.

Hi bigtruck,

If there were a setting I could tweak to make gibs instead of corpses, I'd be happy to. The mod we're running doesn't support that.... Sorry - just shoot the corpses.

Haha i've started to work the corpses during periods of waiting for fresh meat.

Was going to run a parser against the log to output some html stats for all to see.

You need to crank the railgun damage up to like 1000, or 500, currently it's at the default of 100. If you want a true, traditional, rail-only, insta-gib server.

Bumping up the power (which I'm pretty certain you can adjust with your mod) should take care of the corpses.

Well you're right... I'm the author of the mod so, on the one hand, I know it can't do it. But on the other hand, it could be added.

Heh,yeah ... I'd initially configured railz with health and armor enabled, but received repeated requests that health and armor be turned off. So in effect, it's been insta-gib new for a few weeks (albeit with corpses instead of gibs...)

Open to suggestions...

I really like the rail server too. I especially like the standard fire rate for the railguns. So your rail-only practice won't throw off your DM rail timing by having the fire rate doubled.

Why would you oppose insta-gib though Art? Other than not leaving corpses, that'd be the only difference. As it is now, you die anyway when railed, with insta-gib, there won't be a litter of corpses anymore.
