Ummm.... once when I was lagging pretty badly I was kicked for speedhacking.... while i was observing! That seemed pretty strange to me.

QDQuoteWhat, you don't like all the viruses, hack attacks and random lockups ? Where's your sense of adventure ???Only when It's me handing them out j/kQuoteReally though, win2kpro is fairly stable so long as you limit your open apps to 15 or so. (that's my experience anyway) I typicaly go 40-60 days between reboots, and only then due to software updates/installs or power glitches, and yes I do run internet explorer/outlook express/office, and all the other terrible microsoft products.95/98/me = crap ... no experience with xp. NT is also fairly stable.Actually Art, I maintain a few win2kpro terminals for my daughter's clinic - and ***shudder** actually have one at home. When I worked for TRW (25 years of it - left in '96) we used HP minis , WFW, and NT where I was at. Of all the winders I've used I like w2kpro best - it is the most stable. I have to add xp to the list you have - I've messed with pro, home, dell, compaq and it's as full of holes as the rest. Besides, I WANT MY RAW SOCKETS! QD
