Could the max clients be set to 9?

You can't get a 4v4 unless you kick WallFly.

With 4v3's it's real easy for one team

...One team always gets their

.... kinda looks like this --->

I always end up fragging the bodies,

or chasing the newbies around the map

Oh, and the current default number of rounds (9) is really annoying.

Something like 21 would be better.

I just thought this would make the server a little more fun.

It's been fun lately on the ra2 server. Been getting a lot of good/classic players on there. The competition is great. Lets keep it up!

when do you guys usually play on there? I never see anyone in the server when I

It depends... Most ra2'ers are east coast... so look at #187 Murder 1 Inc. ra2 (chi) (216.86.151.65:27910) if ts's ra2 is empty.
If both are empty, 187's NYC server might have some people (216.41.213.2:27910).

If any of the above servers are empty... There are no players playing in America

Idle, and they will come

unless your name is Reflex, then they assume you are asleep.
Then you have to change your name for them to come.
But not many ppl have that problem

Yeah it's pretty random to have players on that TS server. I've even seen (good) players on there as early as 6am est.

Still needs some changes I believe... Some of the maps that come on after timelimit are super lame and players leave the server. Of course we can vote in new maps but that gets to be a hassle. The number of players at 4v4 is nice because there is less spam... but people don't have to play pickups. Ra2 gives you the option of making your own team and play 1on1 on different maps. I think the max players should be increased even more. Basicly you should clone Hal's ra2 server for the TS ra2 server. That would be perfect. I'd state some specific changes that would be involved but I can't so I'll just complain adding nothing much to help the situation.

Quadz: Can you please change the number of rounds for 'non pickup' teams rounds to 1. Every time you create your own team and play on the sub maps, the rounds are default at 24 or so... 90% of the time playing a sub map your doing 1on1 and if theres a few people doing 1on1s on the same sub map then you have to wait 24 rounds before is your turn to play. Currently we have to cast a vote to change the rounds and that is annoying.

Oh... I plan on making a list of most played/liked ra2 maps that way we can for the most part play a rotation without having to deal with voting in a decent one.

OK, all non pickup maps should be set at 1 round now. The pickup maps are still set at 21 rounds. That still seems pretty high... That's what the config file defaulted to. If the pickup maps rounds should be lower, too, lemme know...

For the pickup rounds, that is fine. If anything, people tend to vote it into the 24-36 range sometimes. It should be ok though!

I play there every now and then. Its a little more laid back than tdm since there are pauses between the rounds.
