It was suggested to use CTF Blue Skin Male/Female simply to avoid any "Skin modifying" of say a 'darker' skin like Athena. (So that person who modified (make the skin more bright) would see the other more bright, and would then gain an advantage). With CTF Blue Skin - both persons are very bright and thus cannot cause any conflicts.

That being said, two Grunts would give the same results.

although I like the idea with the CTF skins.. or maybe use the Rocket Arena skins.

I voted for the no restriction..even though I will not be able to wear my   female/../cow/blackcow.. for some reason it doesnt work on some of the tastyspleen servers or lostourminds..I think..

We just need to set "sv_validate_playerskins 0" on all the servers.
R1Q2 by default disallows skins with whacky pathnames.

Actually the female skin looks smaller in area..And for me its easier to use a female to jump...I dunno why..maybe a mental thing.

it is a mental thing.. cause I have no problems using either skin.. the female skin appears to be smaller, but it's not really.  I have no problems killing the female skins

Skins don't matter to me...though I have noticed that some skins seem to respond faster than others...and if I have a real hard time seeing a particular skin - I just rename one of the CTF skins to that skin name...eg: anyone wearing athena/grunt shows as CTF female/male Red on my machine...and I really don't think that is considered cheating compaired to the marshmellow white paks some ppl use....
