YES im glad to see that there are some people here that appreciate vanctf. I think that threewave blows compared to it.

I used to play it in the original Quake and it was the most fun i've ever had in ANY game. I was so sad when Quake2 came with stupid threewave.

Anyway, I guess there are no programmers here that can recode this mod? It's not that hard.

Unfortunately UUD ... I was the one that sent that .zip to q2database .... it was all i had ... but not what tastyspleen needs ..... thanks for taking a look around tho!

yeah base maps rule! but apparently alot of people find base maps boring. i ussually do pretty well on base maps but they're the maps i know best out of all sp maps. i hate city maps with a passion though.

I used to not like the city maps for the longest time, but I eventually came to like them even though city2 may still have to be one of my least favorite ones to play.

I do love the huge outdoor area found in city1. There could be so much going on there at once with grenades bouncing everywhere, BFG's tearing people apart, rockets going all directions, hyperblasters melting everyone, people camping the spawn areas, and people cratering everywhere. Love it.

jail1/strike are tied for my favorite single player maps overall.

jail1/strike are my favs as well... but space is the only sp map that i dont much like, the low gravity just makes everything so slow.. and theres ALWAYS someone camping the railgun

yeah low grav sux for me coz i like grenades and its mission to use them on low grav

ware1 is pretty good!
