For anyone who watched the entire demo:
 
For dm3 strategy, this pov shows some intermediate level stuff: Run the RL>YA whore route, detour occasionally to mega and return. Few predicts, almost all face-to-face exchanges with little hypering. The score remains tied or near tied for almost the entire match. Despite the final score, hate barely wins by hitting a no-look, hailmary predict rock at ssg while retreating. Tight score kept my interest.
 
[Note about dm3 hyper] From oldskoolers like Sybek and Gloucester to Damiah, the HL on dm3 has a devestating, momentum-turning history...in the right hands. Why? Obviously, the narrow spaces lend to the hyper's massive, linear damage. The rub? Being able to move well enough to unload enough cells in between enemy rg/rl reloads. It's almost like an extended, up-close rail flick.

To digress a bit about the thread, if we're gonna use the word humiliation I suggest anybody watch the sequence from the 7min mark at RL room. Hate camps that room for a full minute throwing 16, yep u heard right, 16 rockets at an attacking Granny, plus a bunch of pills. That's a difficult room to attack, considering the narrow splash walls, high ladder and duh -- lowground. How does that minute end? Granny ninjas the ladder and plugs hate with a single slug in between the hatespam.

At the 1:47 mark, watch Hate chase Granny into the small room below ladder to RL. Dead Granny right? Somehow, Hate misses six, yep six point-blank SSG blasts there, then fires six more rockets finally fragging Granny near the pipe. Hate can be glad he camped as often as he did, otherwise he'd run out of ammo. Smart.

Recommend demo for intermediate dm3 strategists who face a much superior shotmaker. Have to say, I think Granny's dm3 ffa experiences must have helped a little with duels there.

Dude, that is my point - I am not a good player.  I have been back a month sinec quitting years ago, and I beat this fool that talks too much shit.  Losing to someone of my low skill is MORE humiliating than losing to a really good player 30-0 from Granny's point of view.   And about missing all those SG shots, we all have those moments where we just can't do shit don't we?

  Haunt I know I'm not smart (any dumbass can see that!), but hateboy just called himself not that good(however, i disagree -- "intermediate" nowadays IS good). If you watched the demo, you'll see that he's nowhere near owning, leasing or renting Granny on dm3. He was very smart to play the RL>YA camping route against an explosive, superior shotmaker. I feel confident that if Granny scaled down his "dm1-aggression" mode to dm3 dimensions, he would win future matches against hate on the pipe.

Some players never cozy up to this map, others feel it's the purest q2 dueling environment possible. By that measure Immortal's skills never reached full notoriety, since he beat Thresh 10-3, the legend whose skills, many feel, were more suited to dm3 than dm1. Wished they had rematched on dm3 again, instead of the absurd, anticlimax of ptrip.
