« on: June 13, 2006, 02:16:20 AM »
Hi,I'm sure this is a simple problem, but I cannot seem to find how to do this..ok what it is,is when I texture a block for example the lines are running in the wrong direction.I have tried entering numbers and all that to rotate the texture but can't seem to get what I want.Is there any simple way to rotate a texture on the surface 90/360 degrees so on?Anyone know? :help:

Which version of Quark are you running?

They do have x,y,z axis rotation. Did you try that?

Do you mean there is an error in the texture placement or are you trying to do something totally different?

Explain more please so I can try and help.

I assume you are having difficulties correctly positioning the texture in relation to
the brush (your box).

I use Quark 6.5 but this should work in the older ones too..

first, you select the whole brush, then select the little handle(square)
in the middle of the side you want to
change the texture position on...

now, over in the control panel on the left (original layout),
select the "face-view" tab (or hit '4' it does the same thing)
you should see a graphic in the window(lower left)
that resembles the face of the brush that you selected..

there will be an L shaped handle on the texture with a little
round dot in the corner..
looks like this:
