Even though I'm not graduating, every year I always get tears in my eyes when I just think about when it will be my turn. I will be seperated from all I have ever known in this small town. I will be very afraid for the future, yet at the same time really excited! I will lose my friends, or maybe the bonds will hold tighter because we are apart. Will I make new friends when I go to college? Will I meet someone that can really like me for me? Will I really be able to fit in...? After finally making my way to the top I'll be bumped down to being a freshman again in college. (damn.)

Next week I'm going to graduation as one of the Grand Marshals. My best friend is the other marshal. Together, we're going to lead the seniors up to get their diplomas - and in the process become seniors ourselves as they graduate. Next year it will be ME graduating, and that's such a scary thought.

honestly its easy as pie leaving school, initially i didnt want to, but last day i just chilled, signed shirts, got pictures and talked about the previous years with everyone, hell even the teachers were cool, most people get that lump in their throat when you get home though, I havent spoketo one person that didnt yet, but it's all washed away because from when you leave school the prom is 4 hours away, and you're too busy getting ready for it, it's all good, the only thing is right now, i've just got a couple more exams to finish, then I wont have a place in the world still september, weird innit.

At my highschool we had a graduation party for the senior class after the ceremony.
they locked the whole senior class in a bowling alley for the night and we had a lame little
shindig. It was the last time many of us were together in the same place.


that's really the saddest part about graduation for me. The last time I got to hang out with all
of my highschool buddies in the same place was at a lame-ass school-sponsored activity that none of us wanted to be at.

the next day, I walked home from school (where the busses returned us to) for the last time, and that was that. Been working my ass off, ever since, to try and scrape up a decent standard of living in southern cali.

Enjoy your last year of highschool, 'cause you'll never have it that easy again.

It was the same with me.  I had no problem leaving high school; I only had a couple of close friends and we've kept in touch over the years.

Enjoy your senior year and get that diploma with your head held high.  The real fun stuff comes after that.     Sure, it's a shitload of responsibility but man it's tons of fun as well.

I was so glad to get out of high school, true, i dropped out.. but it was the best decision ive ever made

Sadly, I dropped out myself.

Not to brag, but fortunately i was able to make it to high school, take the gee (louisiana test you take in march during the year) during the school year, and suprisingly passed. I plan on getting the ged diploma (if nessasary) and work towards becoming a cop.

I promise myself that I will be patient, and eventually graduate.
