One vanilla is all that is needed. Play on another server if you feel like it is overcrowded. No more needs to be said.

Look, i've come up with the solution if ya'll would just listen.
Put Banners on TS to "Promote" other servers.
Take a couple of "non"TS servers and turn them into vanilla style servers.

Then get them listed on Game-o-holic so newbies that google for servers can see them.

If we work at this a little, rather than just talk or gripe about it, we could have "ALL" the servers full.

Quads, if your interested i've got some ideas for a new home page that might help promote activity on other servers. Including non TS servers.

To help Promote, there sould also be a few small Tornements on the other servers.
Like say, a XATRIX 200, or something like that.

As someone stated on previous or another post it would be good to remove servers that nobody plays on.I always see some mods that are always empty,nobody plays them and is just a waste hosting that mod.As for having 2 vanilla servers I really think it should happen.When it is a certain time and most of the American/Canadians are asleep is the best time to have a good frag.Reason being,the server is enjoyable being not that many on it.I had so much fun this morning with only 7 people fragging,you were'nt being spawn fragged all the time,there was room to move and also the map wasn't ending inside 2 minutes.You should really consider it console.

The admins and tourney team does have an exciting tourney planned after the 2v2 completes. I also have a mini, one day tourney I want to run.

A waste of what, though? I keep saying over and over that servers with no players take essentially zero CPU. So there's not much to be gained by removing them.

I am considering a "vanilla2" that's like vanilla, only max 8 players. I think we have the server resources to handle that.

The craziness of the nonstop fragging I think attracts a lot of players. If the server were full 50-60% of the time. Then I think you should consider a 2nd server.

I had predm1 on vanilla for about a month. I removed it because it seemed to get negative comments and empty out the server...

Example comment:

[2006-06-07 20:00] eatchain: this map should be called infinite halls of boredom

Personally I like predm1....
