Hello everyone im Maul i installed quake 2 some days ago and runned in on this server. I have to say im suprised to see q2 still have so many players as it have. I like this server alot  so well i just wanted to say hello to all

I having so much fun so far. I love the weapons Q2 have. I also playing the singleplayer section but im stuck in an area named borehole but i hope to figure out how to do it any suggestions maybe

I play q2 single player when I'm bored and i have probably played it through over 100 times.
I can do in a day before the sun goes down.

Well i managed to figure that part out but im so stuck on Drilling area instead i took a screenie of the problem. i cant find the elevator thing.

Ok if I am remembering that picture right there are several things to try.

[1] If you are on the map that has the huge room with lava at the bottom the whole platform is an elevator leading to two different levels.

[2] I think there is not any way off that level so once you wipe everyone out on it go back through the door that is in the picture and try to find the room mentioned above.  Before you do that though make sure you go to the end of that map and push the lever down to lower the bridge you can see through the windows.

[3]  After leaving that map you can run back to the cavern where the big drill is and activate it drilling a big hole and jump down through it.  Also in the cavern where the cyborgs come out of the wall there should be a crack in it.  Shoot the crack run through it and there is a secret room you jump into.  it has a little conveyor elevator.  hop on it and squat down, when it takes you up and into another room jump off and through that door.
