Is it possible for two players to be simultaneously caught by one trap?

It doesn't look like it. I caught someone in a trap, but I got a little too close and got caught myself, and then the other player got freed. It was in a corridor, there was no ledge to fall from.

From what I've seen, if one person is caught in a trap, and another happens to get too close, the two can change places. I don't think two people can get caught in the same trap however. Dukie would be the best one to ask as he is forever trapping people! I've gotten rocketed out of a trap before, I guess the impact knocked me out of it.

It's only one person per trap.

But you can have two traps affecting one person.

I have actually somehow gotten out of a trap by running in a circle....only did it once and I don't know how.I was surprised to be sure.

Sometimes, depending on the placement of the trap, you can manage to hook yourself around a corner and get away.

yes if you foolishly place your trap to close to a corner or a ledge it can be escaped from.
also on some the xatrix maps with low gravity you can run by and slingshot yourself out of a trap, much like a rocket blowing you out of one!
And no, two people can't be caught in one trap.  If you are caught in a trap, constantly apply backwards arrow and some poor nerd runs into it, you wil be free!
