I think Granny asked about what you can do sitting down, and still considered a sport. Well, I often hear the term "motorsports", as in racing cars, etc. And in pretty much all scenarios of racing of the 4 wheeled variety, you sit down, and it's considered a sport.

IMO playing online games could be categorized as a physical sport. Is it a highly exertive sport, not hardly. But there are reflexes, muscle-memory, hand-eye coordination, etc., involved, so it's definitely somewhat physical, just not nearly to the extent of Football, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, etc. are.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious Punk. Not sure why you said it, maybe you some how thought it justifies q2 being a sport since soccer = sport, quake = game, soccer = game, therfor quake = sport.

You seemed to be trying to make a point, in that because Quake 2 was a game, it could not be a sport. So I was pointing out that basketball, football, soccer, etc., are games, but they are also sports. In other words, the two groups are not mutually exclusive.

The main difference between sport and game is the physical activity, and if you're going to tell me computer gaming is physical, then I'd have to agree with what Granny said.
